We are 3 brothers in my family, and for some reason we all are truly fond with NFL football and NFL sports betting in general…
The oldest, George, went to the army but kept his passion for the bookmaking industry, and so he became the local bookie for his base and for whoever wanted to be on his bookmaking sheet. I am also a bookmaker, but I keep my business as a side job, and neither of my family members is aware of my NFL football betting operation.
A few weeks ago, I was sat down at my desk when I got a call from a guy asking me to place a series of NFL sports parlays, well, since I know the business a lot, I knew he had good chances of winning at least 4 out of the 6 plays he requested, so I was hesitant to take his action, but at the end I did. Bad take.
He ended up winning 5 parlays for a total of $34,000 dollars, which almost got me broke since I was in a house-renewal process and most of my savings were spent on contruction materials, so more than sad, I was dissapointed at myself since I could have just said no, but I guess I am one of those bookies who enjoy the rush of risky NFL football picks.
After two days I saw George’s car approaching to my house. We sat down at the porch to talk about random things and that is when he told me about some some good cash he made recently, I asked him about what he bet on, and when he told me the type of NFL football betting and the teams, I realized it was him who took 34K from me without knowing it.
So when I told him that I was the NFL sports bookie who took his action, he had this expression of confusion on his face, since almost the same thing happened to him, as my youngest brother Danny bet NFL football with him a few round robins and won, to my surprise. He won the same amount of money than George got from me.
So Danny got money from George, and he got back his cash from betting with me, I was the only one of the brothers down on the money department, so I figure out it was my time to pay Dan a call and see if the wheel was to turn in my favor this time around.
It’s just family business…
